QM-2 Coal Gasifier

Advantages

1.Easy to discharge coal slag: QM-2 type wet discharging series coal gasifier can be directly installed on horizontal level. Coal slag can be discharged conveniently and operation is more convenient. 

2.QM-2 coal gasifier can also be applied to both continuous and batch production: it can work for 24 hours; no need to stop primary air for cleaning slag. 

3.Simple operation: coal adding time can be controlled according to temperature display at coal gas outlet. No need experienced operator. 

4.Long service life: adopts special heat resistant furnace grate; furnace grates can be cooled by primary air, which will maintain temperature of furnace grate at 150 to 250 degrees. Service life of furnace grate can be greatly lasted. 

5.Easy maintenance: all structures of furnace body adopt weld assembly. Customer only needs one welder to finish whole furnace overhaul which costs short time. There will be a manhole preserved for maintainer. All repair work can be finished in furnace and no need to tear the furnace body. Maintaining work can be accomplished within 8 hours, which will cause no influence to output capacity. 

6.Double safe guarantee and safer operation: safety is lifeline of enterprise production task. Safe performance of equipment is the most important problem paid attention by enterprises. Slag discharging part of QM-2 model adopts water explosion-proof tank. When pressure of furnace increases, explosion tank can relieve pressure in time and anti-explosion measure is sensitive, which is primary guarantee. As for the second guarantee, QM-2 coal gasifier adopts new type discharge&evacuation device. After stopping the gasifier, open the discharging valve and relieve coal gas accumulated in gasifier in order to prevent explosion. 

7.More even combustion: coal gasifier holds better discharging ability; coal slag will be discharged uniformly along ash tray. Coal layer can move down evenly and there will be no uneven combustion problem. 

8.Coal distribution is more even: there is one limiting device installed at coal load inlet. There will be no deviant combustion caused by unevenly adding coal. 

9.Complete gasification: by adopting special pagoda shape grate drafty system, air distribution will be more even. Coal layer will be burnt cleanly and completely. As gasification agent, steam will mix with primary air uniformly. Steam will be utilized more evenly. Correspondingly, gasification efficiency can reach more than 90%. 

 

QM-2 Coal Gasifier

QM-2 series coal gasifier is developed from dry type ash-removal coal gasifier. QM-2 coal gasifier absorbs advantages traditional gasifier. With patent slag discharging structure, QM-2 coal gasifier is new generation smart efficient environment-friendly machine. 

Special characteristics: 

Adopt special ash tray structure; furnace wall is protected by coal slag forever. 

With good slag breaking, slag loosing and ventilating function. Fundamentally, coal gasifier will be not called as pressure vessel and furnace temperature can be controlled automatically. QM-2 coal gasifier is widely applied to coal heating disposal, coal gas forging furnace, coal gas crucible furnace, gas mould calciner, coal gas coburg furnace, regenerator, melting furnace, ceramic fired furnace, coal gas refractory fume furnace, tunnel kiln and other environment-friendly technology remold. 

Working Principle

  In atmospheric coal gasifier, coal will move from top to bottom. Coal and gasification agent will move oppositely for physical and chemical reaction. The whole process is called gasification. Reaction process is divided into 5 parts. 

1.Ash layer: residues after coal gasification will be on furnace grate and height is at 150 to 250 mm of furnace grate. Ash layer will help heat exchange between gasification agent and ash slag layer. After releasing heat, ash slag will be cooled and has protection function for furnace grate. 

2.Oxidation layer: it is also called combustion layer. Gasification layer is above ash slag. In oxidation layer, oxygen in blower will react with carbon, which will produce great amount of carbon dioxide and heat. Thermal chemical reaction is supported by this part of heat. 

3.Reduction layer: coal gas is produced in this zone. After carbon dioxide from oxidation layer rising to reduction zone, it will carry out endothermic reaction with hot carbon and produces carbon monoxide. Endothermic reaction also happens between water steam and hot carbon and carbon monoxide and hydrogen will be produced. Carbon monoxide will react with extra steam and produce carbon monoxide and hydrogen. Meanwhile, heat will be released to make coal gas temperature rise. 

4.Distillation stage: above reduction zone; under 400 to 550 degree condition, volatile components and other retorting products which will become coke. Coke will transfer to reduction layer from distillation layer and undergo chemical reaction. 

5.Drying layer: top layer, moisture of crude coal is evaporated at this layer, which will prepare raw materials for next layer distillation layer.
