Working Principle

Metal powder ball press machine is composed of three parts, feeding part, transmission part and briquetting part. Main devices for ball press machine are main motor, main transmission device, machine frame and material conveying device. 

1. Feeding part: this part is mainly used to achieve constant feeding in order to guarantee materials’ uniform entrance between rollers. Screw conveying device is driven by electrostatic motor, belt wheel and worm rod reducer. Materials will be forced into main feeding inlet. Owing to its constant moment characteristics, when raw materials quantity is equal to materials quantity needed, metal powder ball press machine can guarantee stable quality of final balls. 

2. Transmission part: main transmission part contains motor, v-belt, reducer, open gear and press roller. Power of main machine is provided by electrostatic motor. After passing by belt wheel, cylindrical gear reducer, these power will be sent to driving shaft. Driving and driven shaft will run synchronously through open gear. 

3. Briquetting part: this part mainly refers to main body of ball press machine. Core part is press roller. 

Power of main body of high pressure ball press machine is provided by electromagnetic speed motor. After passing by belt wheel and cylindrical gear reducer, these power will be sent to main shaft through coupler. Main shaft and driven shaft will run synchronously through open gear. There is one hydraulic device equipped behind driven shaft base. Screw conveying device will be driven by electrostatic motor through belt wheel and screw decelerator. Raw materials will be forced to feeding inlet. Owing to the constant moment characteristics, when the materials quantity fed is equal to raw materials needed, screw conveyor can keep constant feeding pressure which can guarantee stable quality of final products. If feeding quality is too large, screw conveyor will be overload. If feeding quantity is too small, it will be very hard to produce perfect balls. Therefore, mature operation skill is a very important condition for guaranteeing good final quality.
