Main features of large angle belt conveyor:

The main advantages of the large angle belt conveyor:

  (1) The large inclination belt conveyor has a large conveying inclination angle of up to 90°, which is an ideal equipment for large inclination conveying and vertical lifting. Therefore, it can save floor space, save equipment investment and civil construction costs, and achieve good comprehensive economic benefits. For example, if a user wants to raise the coal to the top of the silo 20m high, if the ribs are used to transport at an angle of 45°, the captain only needs 28.3m (horizontal length 20m); and if the vertical conveyor is used, Then, the horizontal captain can be controlled within 6m.

  (2) The structure is simple. As mentioned above, all the main components can be used in common with the universal belt conveyor, which is convenient for use and maintenance.

  (3) Reliable operation. There are no buckles, drift chains, chain breaks that often occur in buried scraper conveyors, and slipping and falling down that often occur in bucket elevators. Its reliability is almost equal to that of a typical belt conveyor.

  (4) Smooth operation and low noise.

  (5) Since there is no excavation resistance at the time of charging and internal friction and external friction resistance of the material during operation, the energy consumption is small. For example, two vertical ribs for conveying crushed coal with a lifting height of 19.28m and a conveying capacity of 25t/h are used in Lunan Fertilizer Plant, and each installed power is only 4kW, which is replaced by them. The total installed power of the four original buried scraper conveyors is 44kW.

High-inclination Belt Conveyor

TD type large angle belt conveyor (hereinafter referred to as "large inclination angle") (large angle belt conveyor) has the advantages of simple structure, reliable operation and convenient maintenance. It has large inclination (90 degree vertical) conveying. The utility model has the advantages of compact structure, small occupation, and the like, and the conveying inclination angle is in the range of 0° to 90°, and the maximum vertical conveying material granularity is 400 mm. It is therefore ideal for large dip (or vertical) transport. It has been used in underground mining engineering, open pit mining, large self-unloading ships, etc., and has achieved good economic benefits in the domestic blast furnace loading for steel plants.

Working Principle

Working principle of large angle belt conveyor (rib belt conveyor):

 1. Corrugated rib conveyor belt: drag and load in the conveyor. The corrugated ribs, the diaphragm and the base belt form a "sluice" shaped container for conveying material, thereby achieving large dip angle transport.

 2. Drive: It is the power part of the conveyor. It is composed of Y series motor, ZJ type shaft mounted reducer and wedge type backstop.

 3. Drive roller: It is the main component of power transmission, and the conveyor belt runs by the friction between it and the drive roller. This series of drive rollers has a rubber surface and a smooth surface. The rubber surface roller is used to increase the adhesion between the roller and the conveyor belt.

 4. Redirection drum: used to change the running direction of the conveyor belt. The redirecting roller is used for the lower surface of the conveyor belt (non-loading surface).

 5. Pressing pulley: used to change the running direction of the conveyor belt, and the pinch roller is used for the upper surface (bearing surface) of the conveyor belt.

 6. Roller: The idler roller is used to support the conveyor belt and the material on the belt to make it run stably. This series has two types: upper parallel roller and lower flat roller.

 7. Carrier roller: The carrier roller is used to support the lower branch of the conveyor belt on the convex arc frame, which is supported on the air edges on both sides of the rib conveyor belt. Several sets of carrier rollers form a circular arc segment for redirecting the conveyor belt. The carrier roller is supported by a cantilever.

 8. Vertical Roller: The vertical roller is used to limit the deviation of the conveyor belt and is installed on the upper and lower over-stage racks. There are 4 racks in each filter section, and each of the upper and lower sections is divided into two.

 9. Beating wheel clearing device: used to tap the back of the conveyor belt to shake off the material stuck on the conveyor belt.

 10. Tensioning device: Its function is: 1. Make the conveyor belt have sufficient tension to ensure that there is no slip between the conveyor belt and the transmission roller. 2. Limit the sag of the conveyor belt between the supports to make the conveyor operate normally. This series uses a screw tensioner.

 11. Rack, head funnel, head guard, guide trough, intermediate frame, intermediate frame legs, etc.: support, dustproof and guiding action in the conveyor respectively. The middle frame legs of this series are available in low, medium and high styles. The lower horizontal section and the tilt are only equipped with low intermediate frame legs, while the upper and lower horizontal sections are equipped with different intermediate frame legs according to different headstocks (low, medium and high headstocks) (low, medium and High-style intermediate frame legs).
